Lars Strannegård has served as President of the Stockholm School of Economics (SSE) since 2014. He is Professor of Management Studies and holds the Bo Rydin and SCA Chair in Leadership. His academic research centers on leadership, aesthetics, branding, and organization.

Professor Strannegård is actively engaged in the broader academic and cultural landscape. He is Chair of CEMS – The Global Alliance in Management Education – and serves on the boards of several organizations in the education, arts, and media sectors. He is a member of both the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences and the Royal Swedish Academy of Letters, History and Antiquities. His experience includes time as a visiting scholar at Stanford University and as a professor at Uppsala University.
